Who We Are

The Lebanese Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (LIFE) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit and non-governmental organization. Its staff consists of Human Rights professionals including country experts, lawyers, and academics of diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Supervised by the LIFE Head Office in Beirut, LIFE has worked in various countries of the Middle East to encourage political systems reforms that suffered of tyranny, constitutional and legal violations. We also provide assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees, internally displaced persons in Lebanon and the world as well as individuals or groups whose legal rights were violated.
